Main Program: Private Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
Your experience begins in Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, where your professional guide or one of our authorized assistants will meet you at your hotel, train station, or at a previously coordinated meeting point within the town. From there, you will walk together to the bus station.
To ensure timely entry into the citadel, it is recommended to depart from Aguas Calientes approximately 45 minutes before the entry time indicated on your official Machu Picchu ticket.
You will then board the official shuttle bus that travels to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes and offers panoramic views during the ascent. Depending on operational arrangements and visitor flow, your guide may accompany you on the bus ride or wait for you directly at the main entrance.
Upon arrival at the entrance checkpoint, you must present your original passport along with your official Machu Picchu entry ticket. Once inside, your guided tour will begin following the authorized routes according to the circuit assigned on your admission ticket.
During the tour, you will explore different sectors within the archaeological complex, including panoramic viewpoints, ceremonial temples, Inca plazas, agricultural terraces, and residential areas. Your guide will share detailed information about the history, architecture, and cultural significance of the citadel, tailoring the experience to your interests while respecting all established visiting regulations.
The guided tour lasts approximately three hours, although the duration may vary depending on the selected circuit and the number of visitors present on the day of your visit.
At the end of the guided portion, the service concludes at the main exit of Machu Picchu. If you have additional entrance tickets, you may also complete optional hikes to Machu Picchu Mountain, Huayna Picchu, or Huchuy Picchu.
Afterward, you will independently take the return bus to Aguas Calientes and continue with your personal itinerary, either returning to your hotel or heading to the train station.
